There are very few spaces where Queer Women from the African Diaspora can be recognized for their achievements.  Black Queer women have been inciting movements, holding spaces and shaping culture since time without beginning and now, in such an uncertain time, it's best that we acknowledge one another, wholly, without shame, censure, or criticism about who and how we love.  The Josie Club was established to create a safe communal space where we can gather to affirm our existence, support one another as a community while honoring our legacy and agency. Since 2019 we’ve intentionally crafted events that do just that.

The Josie Club is a Black Queer Femme and Woman supported and operated social impact group that organizes community around collaborative event productions. We produces spaces and atmosphere that are safe, welcoming and luxurious.
